Purpose:<\/b>\u00a0Minister to the spiritual and physical needs of the marginal members, members of the church, and the community as well as to equip our disciples for serving in this ministry.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Monday and Tuesday\u00a0\u2013\u00a06:45 pm<\/p>\n Encourages the Bethlehem Baptist Church family to remember and meet the needs of those individuals who are most vulnerable in our society, our children. It is the goal of the ministry to encourage persons to adopt, participate in the foster care system or meet the needs of these children in other tangible ways.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Monday and Tuesday evening<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n 3rd Saturday of Month\u00a0\u2013\u00a010 am<\/p>\n Encourages\u00a0and equips the congregation through various opportunities such as health fairs, blood drives, and the printed media about the various health benefits and risks facing our community. The ministry also serves each Sunday during the worship service and is available to meet ministry needs upon request.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n 1st Saturday of the Month \u2013 11 am<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Participates in a walk\u00a0for the Northern Virginia Chapter Leukemia Foundation to raise funds in support of their ongoing cancer research. The fundraiser is coordinated by the Young Adult Ministry for Bethlehem.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Tuesday after 3rd Sunday \u2013 7 pm<\/p>\n <\/p>\n 1st Friday of each month<\/p>\n Prepares and delivers sandwiches for the homeless located on Route I corridor<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Makes and delivers prayer shawls to the sick<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Serve with other churches along Route I in providing shelter and food for the homeless during the winter months.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Serves Bethlehem Baptist Church and Route I corridor families, congregation members donate school supplies for all grade levels.
